Dr. Pamela Maxson, MCC, is a master certified coach, mentor coach, coach trainer, workshop creator and facilitator, author, and lifelong learner who believes every individual has unique, untapped potential to leverage toward the realization of his or her own personal and professional goals.

Pam works with clients to create scaffolding which allows them to optimize and build the career and life they envision. Her years of teaching and guiding have provided her with the ability to help clients notice their own stories and beliefs which may hold them back from their desired success.
She partners with individuals, groups, and teams to develop their best professional and personal lives, discover and leverage their strengths, align their goals and activities with their values, manage competing priorities, engage in self-care, and more. Pam works with individuals as whole people, living whole lives, not compartmentalized pieces.

Pam facilitates an individual’s understanding of their leadership style, maximizing leadership potential, goal and priority setting amidst multiple competing priorities, strength building, communication, work-life integration, and personnel development and management.

​​Pam earned her PhD in Human Development, enabling her to give clients a life perspective, embedding decisions and situations in a broader view. She has taught at Duke University for over 30 years and was in organizational leadership for over 20 years.

Pam is a credentialed (MCC, Master Certified Coach) with the International Coaching Federation and is certified in authentic leadership and business coaching. She applies leading concepts and theories from the fields of psychology, neuroscience and leadership in her partnership with clients to establish and meet their goals toward professional and personal success

Pam has worked in multiple industries, including health care, higher education, IT, oil and gas, sales and non-profits, in coaching, team coaching, and leadership training.
